This is a substantial 1 3/4" silver and turquoise pendant AND brooch with three maker's marks on the pin. The middle mark, a lotus flower, is for Egypt beginning in 1946. The first mark using the symbols for 8 0 0 indicates the silver fineness. The third mark, the date letter, in Arabic, represents 1946-48, depending on where the dot is placed. The trombone clasp is reminiscent of early 1900s jewelry in the United States. Decoration includes cannetille wire work and turquoise balls or cabochons. A similar pin described as 1906-1909 is offered elsewhere for 0.00.
