    Cover commemorating the Apollo 11 mission to the Moon. This cover features the 15 cent red Uncle Sam Hat stamped envelope with a postmark from the Downey, California, birthplace of the Apollo space mission July 20, 1979, the 10th anniversary of the man's first landing/walk on the Moon.
    The cover also contains the Robert F. Kennedy commemorative stamp which was cancelled at Thamespex Station, New London, Ct. on October 21, 1979.
    The cachet depicts an astronaut carrying the American flag on the surface of the Moon and a faux "MOON LANDING  U.S.A. JUL 20, 1969" circular cancel within the cachet.
