    Description

    These are Persian.  Back in the 70's my family travelled to India and we went to a local market on the border where there was a Persian fellow selling these pieces.  Even then there were old.  My mother bought quite a bit of this jewelry to gift when we came back to the States.  I found these going through one of her boxes.
    This is hand-painted on mother-of-pearl in a round shape depicting 5 birds.  It is approximately an inch and a half long.  It is on a chain of about 10" of unknown metal.
